HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL OSUSU

The occasion began with the celebration of the Mass with the Superior General, Very Rev. Fr. Christian Okwuru, SMMM as the presiding celebrant with other concelebrants. The homilist, Fr. Gerald Obi, SMMM reflecting on the first reading admonished the students to imitate the virtue of forgiveness exhibited by the martyr Stephen as well as shun bearing of false witness.

The above named School under the leadership of her principal, Fr. Clinton Arinze Okonkwo, SMMM had the grand finale of her 2024 inter house sports on the 16th day of April 2024.

The occasion was of tripartite celebration:

  1. The Celebration of the Mass
  2. ⁠The Blessing of the New Basket ball and Lawn tennis courts
  3. ⁠Parades, finals of different sports activities, unveiling of her 3rd edition of the Eagle Magazine and various forms of entertainment.

The Superior General in his closing remark thanked the principal, staff and students of the school. He appreciated the neatness of the school and that of the students who also wore smart and bright attires. Fr. Superior thanked the Principal for the new basketball and lawn tennis courts erected and for the wonderful work he has been doing toward the development of the school.

After the Mass, the Superior General blessed the new basketball and lawn-tennis courts.
This was followed by other display of activities such as the parade of different houses, track events and cultural dance and the unveiling of the 3rd edition of the school’s Eagle Magazine.

It was an awesome, entertaining and captivating celebration. Kudos to the principal, staff and students of Holy Family School Osusu.
