ABOUT THE BOOK
“Morals and Manners” is a timely series for the moral emancipation of young people growing up in a society of moral mess. It has six volumes. It is not aimed at young people only, but also at their parents, teachers and pastors; all for proper upbringing and all-round character formation, thereby heeding the counsel to “train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
That “good must be done and evil avoided” should be taught to young people. And educational psychologists have discovered that using ‘morals’ to teach is one of the easiest ways of making lasting impressions on young minds, especially in their character formation. ‘Morals’ are stories, factual or fictional, which are told with the aim of sieving out the moral lessons they contain. This is exactly what the six volumes of this series present.
